15 Minute Gyros
Makes 4 servings · Cook time: 15 minutes · Preheat: 350°F
This is one of the 10 dinners in my 2-Week Dinner Meal Plan.
Ingredients
1 bag Trader Joe's Middle Eastern Beef Kabobs 1 bag pita bread 1 cucumber 1 tomato 1 8 oz container of hummus Homemade tzatziki: ½ cup English cucumber, ½ teaspoon kosher salt, 1–2 garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon white vinegar, 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, 1 cup sour cream, optional mint, and ¼ teaspoon ground white pepper.
Directions
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F and line it with an air fryer liner. Air fry the meat according to directions for 5–6 minutes. While it cooks, mix the tzatziki ingredients in a small bowl. Arrange the pita, hummus, tzatziki, tomato, and cucumber, then add the beef. Enjoy!
Notes
Walmart often has pre-made gyro meat in the frozen section if Trader Joe's is not available. You can also use thinly sliced sirloin tip seasoned with Mediterranean seasoning. The time saver is having the meat ready for the air fryer.
